Carla Harvey is best known as co-vocalist of Butcher Babies, one of the most ferocious female-fronted metal acts of the last decade. The Violent Hour is her all-female hard rock and metal project, providing an additional creative outlet for Harvey’s boundary-pushing artistry. With a career spanning major label releases, world tours and collaborations with some of metal’s biggest names, Harvey brings serious pedigree and stage experience to The Violent Hour. 

The project delivers unapologetic heavy music rooted in the spirit of classic metal, filtered through a modern, all-female lens. Harvey also works as a published author and horror host, reflecting her wide-ranging creative ambitions and leads up the vocals for Lords of Acid.
